"Se o mundo os odeia tenham em mente que antes me odiou (...). Se me perseguiram também perseguirão vocês". (João 15:18)
Olhando para os escritos dos quatro Evangelhos a pergunta que se faz é: "Quem foram aqueles que mais explicitamente odiaram Jesus durante o curto tempo de seu ministério terreno? Quem foram os seus maiores perseguidores?"
Apesar de Jesus chamar Herodes de raposa e os os vendedores do templo de ladrões, seus maiores perseguidores foi a elite religiosa de Israel. O mundo que mais o odiou foi o mundo religioso.
A religião estabelecida e oficial de Israel incluindo as mais variadas ramificações do Judaísmo, foi o "mundo" que mais hostilizou Jesus em Seu ministério.
Aqueles que se julgavam representantes de Deus no "mundo", foram os maiores inimigos de Jesus.
Isso não é uma trágica ironia?

O que para a "igreja" hoje seria o "mundo", para Jesus não representava nenhum tipo de dificuldade. Porém, será que a "igreja" hoje não está na mesma posição que o farisaísmo antigo esteve para Jesus?
Sei que segundo os especialistas da língua e da escrita grega há três palavras que foram traduzidas para "mundo" no Novo Testamento: mundo como criação, mundo como raça humana e mundo como sistema. Mas, nesse texto específico Jesus se referiu a um grupo especifico de gente que o odiou: a religião predominante de seus dias.
O interessante é que os apóstolos tiveram o mesmo grupo os odiando e os perseguindo conforme Jesus predissera. Na lista do espinho da carne de Paulo, ele faz referência ao mesmo pessoal.
Conclusão: Essas pessoas religiosas, pelos motivos os mais variados, constituíam o "mundo" que odiou Jesus, porém para elas, elas se julgavam servindo à Deus.
Tenho certeza que a religião com seus dogmas, ritos, doutrinas, moralismos, templos, sacerdotes, letrismos das Escrituras e tantos outros ingredientes é o que mais ataca e persegue o Evangelho puro e simples de Jesus Cristo até os dias de hoje.

Looking at the writings of the four Gospels the question that arises is: "Who was it who hated Jesus more explicitly during the short time of his earthly ministry? Who were your greatest persecutors?"
Although Jesus called Herod a fox and sellers from the temple of thieves, was his greatest persecutors of Israel's religious elite. The world hated him most was the established religion and world religioso.A official of Israel including the most varied branches of Judaism, was the "world" that most antagonized Jesus in His ministry.Those who considered themselves representatives of God in the world, "were the greatest enemies of Jesus.
This is a tragic irony?
What to the "church" today would be the "world", for Jesus did not represent any kind of difficulty. But is the "church" today is not in the same position as the former was self-righteousness to Jesus?
I know that experts in language and writing are three Greek words that were translated "world" in the New Testament world as creation, the world as the human race and the world as a system. But in this particular text Jesus referred to a specific group of people who hated him: the predominant religion of his day.
Interestingly, the apostles were the same group as hating and persecuting Jesus predicted. In the list of the thorn of the flesh of Paul, he refers to the same staff.Conclusion: These religious people, for the most varied reasons, constituted the "world" who hated Jesus, but for them they thought themselves to serving God.
I'm sure that religion with its dogmas, rituals, doctrines, moralities, temples, priests, lettering of Scripture and many other ingredients is the most attacks and pursues the pure and simple Gospel of Jesus Christ until the present day.
